Alice Newell Joslyn Medical Fund (College)
Scholarship for Latino undergraduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution in San Diego County, California pursuing studies in Medical/Health Care, such as, Nursing, Dental/Medical Assistant, or Physical Therapist. Students must demonstrate financial need, scholastic achievement, and community service. An interview is required. Number of awards may vary. An essay and a copy of the SAR must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable; recipients may reapply.

American Society for Clinical Pathology Student Scholarship East Carolina University
Scholarship for undergraduate students attending East Carolina University who are enrolled in their final clinical year of study in Cytotechnologist (CT), Histologic Technician (HT), Histotechnologist (HTL), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Technologist (MT) programs. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection based on academic achievement, leadership abilities and extracurricular activities. Number of awards varies.

AMT Member Scholarships
Scholarship for undergraduate students who are members (in good standing) of American Medical Technologists (AMT). Students must be pursuing a career as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Specialist, Dental Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, or Office Laboratory Technician. A statement of career goals and evidence of financial need must be included with application packet.

Armand Barazia Medical Assistant Scholarship Allegany College of Maryland
Scholarship for Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or District of Columbia residents who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Allegany College of Maryland majoring in Medical Assistant. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be U.S. citizens/permanent residents. Number of awards may vary. An essay must be included with application packet.

ASCP Scholarships
Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled in the final year of clincal study at a NAACLS or CAAHEP accredited laboratory science program leading to certification to become Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Cytotechnologists, and Histotechnologists/Histologic Technicians. Selection based on GPA (minimum 3.0), leadership abilities, involvement in the community, and recommendations. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Assistant Program Scholarships
Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled in an Ophthalmic Medical Assistant Program. Applicants must show financial need. Number of awards may vary.

Berwick Health & Wellness Nontraditional Scholarship Award
Scholarship for undergraduate enrolled at a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in a Health related field, ranging from, Vocational Nursing and Dental Assistant to Health Education to Dentistry and Medicine. Students must be 23 years of age or older. Number of awards and award amount may vary. A personal narrative must be included with application packet.

Berwick Health & Wellness Scholarship Award
Scholarship for undergraduate students residing in the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation service area who are enrolled at a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in a Health related field, ranging from, Vocational Nursing and Dental Assistant to Health Education to Dentistry and Medicine. Students from the following high schools are eligible to apply: Benton Area, Berwick Area, Central Columbia, Northwest Area High Schools, Columbia Montour Vocational-Technical School, or Westside Vocational-Technical School. Number of awards may vary. A personal narrative must be included with application packet.

Cappex Health Careers Scholarship
Scholarship for graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited postsecondary institution in the US majoring in Health Careers such as, Nursing, Medical Assistant, Veterinary Technologist, or Dental Assistant. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be U.S. citizens/permanent residents, and demonstrate extracurricular activities, leadership skills, and volunteer activities. Number of awards may vary.

Cumberland Professional Fire Fighters, Local 1715 Scholarship Allegany College of Maryland
Scholarship for Allegany County, Maryland residents who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Allegany College of Maryland majoring in Nursing, Medical Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, or Criminal Justice. Dade Behring-Emil Von Behring Scholarship

Students must be U.S citizens/permanent residents. Selection is based on academic performance and service to the community and/or country. Awards are intended for under-represented minority students. Dorothy Morrison Undergraduate Scholarship
Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled in an NAACLS accredited program in Clinical Laboratory Science including Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician, Cytotechnology and Histotechnology. Scholarship for residents of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts who are graduates of Martha's Vineyard Regional High School pursuing careers as Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Nurses, or Dental Laboratory Technicians. Financial need will be considered. Number of awards and award amount may vary.

Scholarship for Greene County, Indiana residents who are graduating high school seniors planning to attend a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in a medical training curriculum such as, but not limited to, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technician, X-ray Technician, or Physical Therapy. Annual award for undergraduate student attending Indiana State University, pursuing a career as a Medical Technologist. Due date varies.

Forum for Concerns of Minorities Scholarship
Scholarship for Minority undergraduate and graduate students accepted in an NAACLS accredited program in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician Program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Submit a statement describing objectives, three letters of recommendation and transcript with application packet. Award amount varies. Awards will be granted to one CLS/MT student and to one CLT/MLT student.

Healthcare Career Scholarship
Scholarship for residents, students, or health care workers in Brevard County, Flordia who are pursuing studies in the Healthcare field. Selection based on academic ability and financial need. Areas of study include: Nursing (associates and bachelor); Respiratory Therapy; Radiologic Technology; Laboratory Technology; Physical Therapy assistant; or Medical assistant. Due dates are: October 31st-winter semester and April 15th-fall semester. Number of awards and award amount may vary. Nonrenewable; but recipients may reapply annually.

Imogene K. Fisher Award University of Iowa
Scholarship for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Iowa majoring in a Health related field. Students must have financial need. Preference given to medical technologists pursuing a graduate degree with a hermatology-related career; second preference given to medical technolgists pursuing a graduate degree; third preference given to senior medical technology students pursuing a hermatology-related career. Due dates are September 15th for the fall semester and February 1st for the spring semester. Number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable; recipients may reapply.

Iowa Association of Health Care Recruiters Scholarship University of Iowa
Annual award for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Iowa majoring in Health related fields. Students must have financial need and currently be enrolled in an accredited medical technologists program. An interview is required.

Juliette A. Southard-Oral B Laboratories Scholarship Program
Scholarship for American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) student members who are graduating high school seniors or GED recipients planning to attend a postsecondary institution majoring in Dental Assisting. Students must be 18 years of age and be pursing a career in Dental Assisting. Number of awards and award amount may vary. A statement of intent and a photograph must be included with application packet.

Kaiser-Permanente Dental Assistant Scholarship
Scholarship for Oregon or Washington residents who are enrolled in a accredited Dental Assistant program at Blue Mountain, Chemeketa, Lane, Linn-Benton, or Portland community colleges OR Concorde Career Institute. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen/eligible noncitizen, file a FAFSA, and be a full-time student. In addition to application student must submit official transcripts, activities chart, and an essay. Nonrenewable. Award amount and number of awards vary. Contact the student's guidance counselor or the Commission for more information and/or application.

Maxine Williams Scholarship Fund
Scholarship for students who are currently enrolled in a postsecondary Medical Assisting Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Selection is based on academic ability, minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, and demonstration of involvement in school and community. Award includes a one year membership in the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Applications must be obtained from the program director. Walter & Florence Vorbleski Scholarship Award
Scholarship for undergraduate enrolled at a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in a Health related field, ranging from, Vocational Nursing and Dental Assistant to Health Education to Dentistry and Medicine. Priority given to Nursing students. Number of awards may vary. A personal narrative must be included with application packet.

Women's Independence Scholarship Program (WISP)
Awards to female direct survivors of domestic (partner abuse) violence who plan to pursue postsecondary education full or part-time. Limited funds are available for graduate studies. Programs that will be considered include nursing, teaching, computer technology, computer training, law enforcement, theology, equipment handling, physical therapy, social work, counseling, hairdressing, landscare design, journalism, medical billing, and massage therapy. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen. Students must identify a nonprofit, domestic violence services agency willing to sponsor them for this program. Due date has no cutoff date. Award amounts vary. Renewable.

Research Awards - Grants Program
Annual award for Clinical Laboratory Scientists and Clinical Laboratory Technicians who are active members of ASCLS conducting research in the field of clinical laboratory science. Up to two awards will be presented at the annual ASCLS meeting. Contact granting agency for more information and/or application. Award amount varies.

Roche Diagnostics Scholarship
Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled in the final year of clincal study at a NAACLS or CAAHEP accredited laboratory science program leading to certification to become Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Cytotechnologists, and Histotechnologists/Histologic Technicians. Ruth M. French Graduate or Undergraduate Scholarship
Scholarship for college undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an NAACLS accredited program in Clinical Laboratory Science including Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Technician, Cytotechnology and Histotechnology. State Dental Assistant Scholarship
Annual award for student who is a Georgia resident and plans to attend Dental Assistant School in the state of Georgia. Contact the Association for additional information and/or application. Due date varies.

Terri Sullivan Callaway Scholarship Fund
Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution pursuing studies in Nursing. Preference given to students who are St. Johns Catholic Church members located in Martin County, Indiana, second preference given to students pursuing studies including, but not limited to, Medical Laboratory Technician, X-ray Technician, or Physical Therapy, third preference given to students from Loogootee High School.
